All right, I figured that I would post about something meaningful for once, at least as meaningful as it can get whilst on the topic of this website. I just wanted to say that the voting to experience ratio is outrageous. The way that it is structured, you only get ten experience points per day. This is stupid. Several of the higher ranks have around 1000 XP between ranks. Due to this, it will take 100 days of consistent logging on and voting on five submissions to level up a rank. Leveling up three ranks a year? Seriously? Especially considering how there are 60 ranks. Twenty years to get up to the top rank...and even that's assuming that users are going to be consistently logged on and voting. I'm not going to be on this site twenty years from now. Users should get paid more for their contribution to this society, and I think that this XP ratio is crap. Any opinions?
